"The culmination of my life long educational journey that has spanned several years and throughout many universities, colleges and countries across the world including the US was successfully completed at Preston University. During the years that I spent at Preston working through a rigorous curriculum as a doctoral candidate I was provided with a solid educational foundation that allowed me to develop my intellectual abilities and advanced research skills. My new book 'How to Start, Operate and Fund a Non-Profit Mental Health and Substance Abuse Organization' was made possible and is a direct product of the high level of self discipline and strength of mind that is taught in the doctoral program at Preston. The highly developed and complex research methodology that was required to complete my dissertation has become an invaluable asset in my writing career. My ability to compile and harness complex healthcare clinical and operating protocols becomes clearly evident in several key chapters of my book. This is especially apparent in the chapter on pharmacotherapy and patient comorbidity. The overwhelmingly positive educational experience that I had at Preston will be one that I will always treasure and remember fondly."

As an army chaplain I face numerous geographic moves. The academic program at Preston University was a perfect fit for my transient lifestyle. By combining classroom and distance education classes I was able to earn the Ph.D. degree in United States History while stationed in Massachusetts, Germany, Bosnia, and Kosovo. Earning this degree has greatly enhanced my promotion potential in the Army Chaplaincy.

I have gained an increased awareness of the value of human relationships, interactions and behaviors and how these can be harnessed towards the achievement of common goals even in the face of great challenges both in the work environment and in my personal life.

"Getting through my studies with Preston University I eventually came to realize what its dedicated faculty achieves by emphasizing 'global education'. From here, in Bucharest, and along with my work endeavors, I suddenly became emotionally interested in things which are apparently embodied only in a local culture: whether Wyoming is a 'swing state' … How the 9/11 event affected the every day life in Cheyenne … How harmful was the fire which destroyed chunks of forest in the mountains …
The meaning of all that is that 'education' reaches in innumerable ways its goal to mold our personality and if this process bridges hard work, compassion and intellect across geographically distant foci of scholarships the student gets an inescapable sense of culturally enhanced educational achievement. This is the laudable way Preston University pioneers 'global education' and thrives to achieve excellence in educating people worldwide."
